Started this off as a graphite drawing but it didn't seem to amount to much, so decided to sling in a bit of colour (unusual for me) using Derwent Graphitint pencils - and it's turned out OK.

Steem belongs to an Italian friend and we have ridden together in Italy and Portugal. She's about 17hh, a long-legged, rangy mare. I believe she's now a brood marel.
